Using a Custom Domain Name with Your Homewo Site
Using your own personalized domain name for your Homewo page is fairly straightforward, but it does require a bit of work behind the technological curtain. Don’t worry though. Just follow this guide and you’ll have a personalized URL in no time.
Step 1: Register Your Domain
Unfortunately, Homewo does not provide domain registration services at this time, but there are plenty of upstanding registrars just a click away. Though any registrar will work, this guide will go through the process using 1&1 domain name services. Just click this link and go through the process to register your desired, available domain name. You should know that the deals 1&1 offers apply only to the first year, and that domain registration comes with an annual charge (about ten or eleven dollars a year) separate from Homewo subscription premiums. Since using your own domain name is a premium feature, a Superstar membership is required for this to work. Once you have registered your domain…
Step 2: Wait
Registering a domain may take anywhere from between 8 and 24 hours. If you already have your domain registered, you can skip this step. Otherwise, you’re just going to have to wait about a day for the process to complete.
Step 3: Create an A Record
Step 4: Wait
It may take as long as 48 hours for your A record to propagate over the World Wide Web, but it usually only takes about 4 hours. Wait a few hours, though there’s no harm in trying it early.
Step 5: Enter the Domain into the Dashboard
Remember, using your own domain name is a premium feature, so you must be a Superstar member. If you are a Superstar member, and you’ve already registered your domain name and created an A record, follow these steps to complete the process.

Success! You created an A record.
2. Click either the “Superstar” or “Superstar Features” button on your toolbar or dashboard menu.
3. Click the “Custom Domain” link.
4. Enter your domain name with the WWW. into the “Custom Domain” field.
5. Click “Enter”
If your A record was successfully created, and the DNS servers have had time to propagate your record, then your custom domain should be fully functioning now. Any attempts to access your old Homewo domain should redirect to your new custom domain address.
Cool, huh?
