Uploading Files and Documents

Uploading Files and Documents to Your Homewo Site

Uploading files and documents to your Homewo classroom website is easy. Just follow these steps or watch the video below.

1. Log-in: In order to upload or manage your files, you must be logged in. Click the “Login” link at the bottom right corner of your homepage or just go to “yourdomain.homewo.com/wp-admin” and sign in.

2. Add or Edit an Assignment: If you want to link the file to a specific day, begin editing that day. Alternately, you can upload the file directly to your media library and insert it into any post from the library.

3. Click the “Add Media” Button: located immediately to the right of the “Upload/Insert” text above your text editor is the “Add Media” button. Click this small star shaped button to open the file uploader.

4. Select Your File: You can choose to upload the file directly from your computer or another URL. Once a file is uploaded, you may also insert it into posts from the “Media Library” tab at the top of the file selection dialog box. If you are uploading from your computer (the default), click the “Select Files” button and locate the file that you would like to upload. Click “Open”.

5. Insert into Post: Optionally, you can add descriptions and information about your file or change the file name, but mainly you will want to insert the file into the post. Scroll to the bottom of the dialog box and click on the “Insert into Post” button. This will create a link to the file that users can click to access.

Don’t forget to click “Publish” to make your post go live, and uploading files to Homewo and inserting them into posts is that simple.
